The Glory ahead...

Life has a way of bringing hard times that can mess with your peace of mind, there are times you go through challenges and you don’t understand, can’t even explain because you just don’t have the answers and they tend to question your faith in God and makes you ask yourself, "where is God in the midst of all this", when all the dreams you have seems like they are drifting away and things all just don’t feel like you’ll make it through the day, you’ve probably cried all you can cry and at times you had to wear a smile when you hurt just deep inside.

But see what God said in His word, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you, when you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you”- Isaiah 43:2. This means at some points in our lives, we would have to pass through the fire and the waters, and maybe you ask yourself, ‘why must I’ like I once did, but here is the answer, “For Thou, O God has proved us: Thou has tried us, as silver is tried, Thou brought us into the net; Thou laid affliction upon our loins, Thou has caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water, but Thou brought us out into a wealthy place”- Psalm66:10-12. So God makes us pass through the fire and the water to test us, most importantly it’s good to know that He’s right there with us through the trying times, He knows all you are going through, He’s the kind of High Priest that gets touched with the feeling of our infirmities. The affliction, pain, broken heart, persecution, sufferings, tribulations is only a test, which is a means to an end and not the end in itself, when He has tried and proved you, then you shall come forth as gold (Job23:10).
So don’t let the troubles on the outside take the love you have on the inside, all you need do is trust in Him, Proverbs3:5 says “trust in The Lord with all your heart, and lean not unto thine understanding”. Don’t try to understand everything, just trust God. Proverbs20:24 in the NLT version says “The Lord directs our steps, so why try to understand everything along the way”. Instead of trying to understand, why don’t you do these two things, ‘Pray’ and ‘Praise’ , the psalmist said “For I cried out to Him for help, Praising Him as I spoke”- Psalm66:17(NLT). He’s a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him.

Let me finally cap it all with His word in Romans8:18- “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed In you”. So whatever is the challenge you are going through, don’t focus on it, but rather focus on the glory ahead. And when the glory shall finally arrive, you might not even have to tell your story, why? Because your story is not worthy to be compared to the GLORY.
